The Smart Lock application offers a secure and efficient means of protecting your privacy on your mobile phone. It allows you to hide apps, pictures, and media files by using a password-based management system. With Smart Lock, you no longer need to worry about unauthorized access to your apps or the viewing of your private pictures and media files.

Smart Lock provides a range of features to enhance your privacy and security. These include locking apps, keeping your phone awake, and locking the auto screen-rotate function. With Smart Lock, your locked apps, pictures and media files remain completely hidden from prying eyes.

Important Tips:

• Exercise caution when deleting unlocked media files as they may be permanently lost. To recover lost media files: Reinstall Smart Lock > Go to Settings > Lock Media Recovery
• Deleting the ".SmartLock" folder on the SD card will result in the deletion of locked files.
• If you choose the "Clear data" option (path: Settings > Applications manager > Smart Lock (Free)), all information related to locked files will be deleted.
• Apps that clean up storage (e.g., Clean Master) may inadvertently delete locked media. So, avoid deleting any Smart Lock-related files while cleaning up your smartphone.
• Remember to unlock and back up all locked media before upgrading firmware or formatting the internal/external SD card. Failure to do so may result in the permanent deletion of locked media files.
• Before uninstalling Smart Lock, unlock all locked media files and then proceed with the uninstallation to avoid losing any important data.
• It is advisable to keep important locked media files backed up in an external storage device to prevent potential loss in case of app-related issues or system failures.
• If the Smart Lock app is not visible or running in the launcher, you can access it through the "App Hide Mode" in the setup settings. Dial #789 on your phone and press call.
• If you are unable to execute a call, open the default Gallery app on your phone, select and share photos, choose Smart Lock to lock them, and then call dial #789.
• In the app settings, you can find the option to recover disappeared or invisible locked media files.
